BMW X5 vs INFINITI QX60: Performance Specs

THE 2021 BMW X5 also comes with a variety of configurations. You can drive purely on electric power during quick trips to the store, tow up 7,200 pounds, or enjoy the all-weather capabilities of the available xDrive AWD system. While the INFINITI QX60 also has an available AWD, it is limited in its overall performance capabilities, compared to the X5.

At most, it can tow up to 5,000 pounds. Plus, it doesn't offer an available plug-in hybrid configuration like the X5, so it doesn't reach the same level of efficiency. Even when just sticking to the standard powertrains, the BMW X5 provides more power and better efficiency in the city.1

With its standard 3.0L BMW TwinPower Turbo inline 6-cylinder engine, the BMW X5 creates 335 horsepower and 331 lb-ft of torque while getting up to 21 city MPG.1 The QX60 comes with a 3.5L V6 that generates 295 horsepower and 270 lb-ft of torque, while only getting a maximum of 20 city MPG.

Comparing Their Infotainment Systems

Within the BMW X5, the 12.3-inch center information display will be your command center. It features the iDrive 7.0 infotainment system, which comes with voice operation, the iDrive touchpad controller, Cloud-based Navigation, and more. Plus, with smartphone integration also included, you can connect your device directly to its center touchscreen to access your music, messages, and other apps.

The QX60 doesn't come with the same level of infotainment capabilities as the X5. To start, it features a smaller, 8-inch touchscreen. A navigation system is also only available in higher trim levels. Since Apple CarPlayâ„¢ and Android Autoâ„¢ aren't offered in the QX60 either like they are with the X5, the BMW SUV allows for a more connected drive for added convenience and personalized entertainment.
