Believe it or not, we’re already well on our way to the 2025 model year, and for BMW that means an all-new version of the ever-popular BMW X3. The 2025 BMW X3 isn’t just a refresh, it’s a completely new design inside and out, with more power, efficiency, and tech than ever before, and BMW of Montgomery has the details you need to know before this new BMW SUV arrives at our dealership later this summer.
New Looks, Better Efficiency
Despite a larger overall footprint, the 2025 BMW X3 is actually more aerodynamically efficient than its predecessor. A revised grill includes vertical and diagonal slats for improved air flow and cooling under the hood. And sleek, smooth body lines help air flow across the expansive door and fender panels more smoothly, reducing drag and aiding in overall efficiency.
New Tech Inside
BMW’s iDrive system is already among the best in the business, and the mantra of “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” applies to the updated infotainment system in the 2025 BMW X3. That said, it isn’t completely untouched– new entertainment options include video streaming and games to enjoy while parked. And a new set of screens stretches across the dash giving you more real estate to place your most-used functions all in one place.
More Power Under the Hood
On paper, the engine options in the 2025 BMW X3 look the same as in 2024, but in terms of performance, both get noticable boosts. Both the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder and the 3.0-liter turbocharged inline-six get mild-hybrid tech that improves output while maintaining efficiency. At 255 horsepower in the four-cylinder and 393 horsepower in the six-cylinder, both engines make more peak power than their outgoing counterparts without sacrificing fuel economy.
