What Makes This a New Era for BMW?
The Neue Klasse rethinks the driving experience from the inside out. BMW Panoramic iDrive replaces the traditional gauge cluster with BMW Panoramic Vision, which displays key information along the bottom edge of the windshield. A 17.9-inch free-cut Central Display handles navigation and media. A powerful central computer called the Heart of Joy fine-tunes acceleration, braking, and steering in milliseconds.
2027 BMW iX3: Long Range, Fast Charging
As the first Neue Klasse model, the iX3 sets the tone for everything that follows. It also earned the title of 2026 World Car of the Year. The iX3 50 xDrive uses dual electric motors to produce 463 horsepower and 476 pound-feet of torque.
It reaches zero-to-60 mph in 4.7 seconds. Range is estimated at 383-434 miles. On a DC fast charger, its 800-volt system can go from 10 percent to 80percent in about 21 minutes. The iX3 can even send power back to your home during an outage. A 603-horsepower iX3 M60 xDrive is also coming soon.
2027 BMW X5: More Choices Than Ever
Now in its fifth generation, the X5 offers the widest range of drive systems BMW has ever offered in one model. The X5 40 xDrive pairs a three-liter inline-six with 48-volt mild hybrid assistance for 394 horsepower and 428 pound-feet of torque. The X5 50e xDrive plug-in hybrid raises output to 483 horsepower and adds up to 44 miles of estimated electric range.
Shoppers who want to go fully electric can choose the new iX5 60 xDrive. It produces 570 horsepower and offers an estimated range of up to 435 miles. A panoramic glass sunroof comes standard.
