There aren’t many big changes coming for the 2024 BMW M Performance lineup, but a few models will see minor updates. The BMW M4, for example, is getting a new in-car infotainment system with revised screen and more haptic and touch controls for a cleaner cabin look. Iti also gets updated trim stylings for a more modern feel, and the curved display is easier to see with less glare.
Meanwhile, the BMW X5 M comes with a 48-volt mild-hybrid system to improve both fuel economy and off-the line acceleration. This intermediary electric motor sits on the transmission and helps with initial acceleration to help save fuel while city driving. The facelifted performance SUV also gets a larger grille and more bold front end design, while the 12.9-inch instrument cluster and 14.9-inch infotainment screens take center stage inside.
Finally, the BMW M3 gets a CS variant for 2024. This new model offers stiffer suspension, carbon seats, and 543 horsepower from a retuned version of the twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six cylinder engine.
